Background
Braustin Homes is the first virtual home dealership. They help families become homeowners. It is their passion and you won't find a more dedicated team anywhere. Their name "Braustin" came together in 2015 after losing their brother and best friend Jonathan Piña. Alberto and Jason wanted to make a difference in the world, and they decided to do it through what they knew best affordable housing.
I started at Braustin in the fall of 2020. There wasn't a creative team before us and we had to create systems to run an efficient team. It was difficult because we were pressed to make as much content as we could as well as take time to create systems for organization. With only 2 videographers and a graphic designer, we had to come up with solutions and make this thing into a successful content engine. In the last 6-8 months are lead videographer, marketing manager, and marketing assistant left the company all around the same time. Now it's just the graphic designer and I.
Solution
Working full-time, I now am the Sr. Video Specialist. The Graphic Designer and I work on a week-by-week content schedule. I travel all across rural San Antonio and capture home deliveries, customer testimonials, and open houses. I break my days up into 3 types of days. Shooting days, editing, days, and planning days. In the past 2 years of my working with the company, I have been responsible for 71% of all of our Youtube content from the start of the company. And on Instagram, I hold the highest viewed video at 12k. One video on our platform reached 28.6k views and that was achieved by our intern. Not only do I hold the highest viewed videos on our team, but I hold the top 3 most viewed reels on our Instagram. We've found a way to go viral and sustain it and are one of if not the best social media teams in our industry.
